So a fully-fledged Buddhist community, particularly this far south, has some novelty for the locals, and you can buy all kinds of toys, knicknacks, and t-shirts, in addition to traditional craft items. Plus: cheap Tibetan food, arguably the most delicious cuisine in the known human world.
